
Prof. Veronica Campbell was appointed the inaugural President of South East Technological University (SETU) in July 2022. She holds a degree in Pharmacology from the University of Edinburgh and a PhD in Neuropharmacology from the University of London. Joining Trinity College Dublin in 1998, she was appointed to an academic post at the School of Medicine, where she gained extensive teaching experience and continued to build a successful research record in cell biology, pharmacology and tissue engineering.
Prof. Campbell has subsequently held several senior leadership roles in Trinity College including Dean of Graduate Studies and Bursar and Director of Strategic Innovation. She has also served with the Board of the Atlantic Institute at Oxford University and was the inaugural chair of the Global Brain Health Institute of Trinity College and University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
